SUKAZYM SUKACell Acid Cellulase

Cellulose is an unbranched glucose polymer composed of anhydro-D-glucose units linked by 1, 4-b-D-glucoside bonds. These glycosidic bonds can be hydrolyzed by cellulolytic enzymes. The native structure of the cellulose is composed of crystalline and less organized amorphous regions. Our product is an enzyme preparation obtained from the submerged fermentation of a cellulase producing microbial strain. It is widely used in textile and garment for bio-polishing and stonewashing. Cellulases are complex enzymes that help decompose organic or plant matter with high cellulose content and turn them into beta-glucose, cellobiose or cellooligosaccharides. Cell wall of plants contain cellulose which normally is not digested in animals that have little cellulase enzyme. Most ruminants have some bacteria with cellulase and allow the animals to utilize cellulose as a carbohydrate source. Cellulase is composed of three major enzymes. The first is Endocellulase, which breakdowns internal bonds of the crystaline structure of cellulose. Next is Exocellulase which cuts links of glucose produced by endocellulase to disaccharide cellobiose. The third is Cellobiase also called beta-glucosidase, which breaks the glucose links in cellobiose. The problems of agricultural feeds for farm animals are generally low in protein content, high crude fiber, low digestibility coefficients and containing anti-nutrient factors such as tannins and alkaloids. To increase digestibility of these agricultural feedstuff, it is important to destroy the links between cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. Cellulase converts cellulose to beta-dextrins then to D-glucose and is used in animal feeds as an additive and supplement for those animals with limitted cellulase and also to aid in animal flatulence or intestinal gas problems. Sukahan (Weifang) Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. has been producing high purity cellulase for use in textile, animal feeds, pulp and paper, wastewater and garbage management and other important industries to help meet the high demand for these multi-purpose enzyme.

  • WHAT IS SUKAZYM SUKACELL?
SUKACell is an enzyme preparation obtained from the submerged fermentation of a high cellulase-producing microbial strains. It is widely used in animal feed, textile, wastewater treatment and paper making industries. In textile manufacturing, finishing refers to any process performed on yarn or fabric after weaving to improve the look, performance, or feel of the finished textile or clothing. SUKACell has been used in bio-polishing & enzymatic stonewashing of textile and have surpass other chemical and mechanical methods. The highly active enzyme in SUKACell helps in the conversion of cellulose, a component of plant cell walls and woody fibers to simpler molecules that can easily undergo further industrial processing. SUKACell is efficiently and quickly helps degrade various cellulosic matter from organic substances present in wastewater from industrial sources. SUKACell has also been used for food and beverage Industries.
  • APPLICATION & DOSAGE:
Feed Additive: • For use as a feed additive, SUKACell can be mixed to the feeds at a recommended rate of 0.05 - 0.1% by weight of feed.
